Science is the art of creating suitable illusions which the fool believes or argues against, but the wise man enjoys their beauty and ingenuity without being blind to the fact they are human veils and curtains concealing the abysmal darkness of the unknowable.

I am dedicated to bringing quality maths education to college-aged students. I'm interested in various reforms for maths education and measurements of success, as well as how to better classroom environments. I have experience mainly teaching low level (algebra, trig) classes, including "non-traditional" classrooms; some statistics courses; working with ESL students; and tutoring. Most of my experience has been with STEM students, but I'm passionate about bringing the love of mathematics to everyone!

I have experience in a wide variety of applied math problems, including biomathematics, physical chemistry, and statistics. Through this, I gained knowledge of several programming languages, such as Matlab, Latex, Mathematica, R, SAS, and UNIX systems. I also have basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript, and Bootstrap programming.

I received my bachelor's degrees in both mathematics and applied mathematics at Marshall University. I received my master's degree in applied mathematics from Missouri S&T, where I focused on courses in analysis, measure theory, and statistics.
